The Shand Group of Industries was established in 1977 by Shri Shantilal Shand to tackle the problem of water transportation in India and ensure that safe drinking water reached every household. Our company was not only a pioneer in introducing the PVC piping system in our country, it is also the first to manufacture flexible pipes in south India.
Our flagship brand Raksha Pipes has journeyed into the new millennium under the stewardship of Shri Sanjay and Ajay Shand to become a national leader in providing state-of-the-art piping solutions to all sectors of the economy, be it agricultural, domestic or industrial. Shand Group first triumphed in the flexible pipes segment under the brand name of Diamond, after which the company ventured into manufacturing other products under the flagship brand Raksha, to provide its customers with a one-stop-shop for all their plumbing needs. The company has heavily invested in diversifying its product portfolio and is now shifting focus to becoming a household name in the market. The company has multiple and multi-location manufacturing units to seamlessly supply products across the country, backed by warehouses in practically every state. His passion for education led him to become a founding trustee for the Jain Group of Institutions and Jain Hospital. His helpful and social nature has earned him the endearing name of ‘Papaji’ in his close circle.
